Warranty Policy
Light Emitting Designs, Inc. offers a 1 year limited, in-house manufacturer's warranty on all products labeled for Lumen Photon Therapy, Inc.. In special cases, Light Emitting Designs, Inc. will extend beyond the 1 year manufacturer's warranty, but such cases must be handled through Lumen Photon Therapy, Inc.. If the item is damaged due to obvious and/or gross neglect, or any other manner in which the product did not fail due to design and/or build, Light Emitting Designs, Inc. will still repair the unit if desired, but will contact the owner before repairs as a small service fee may be necessary. Light Emitting Designs, Inc. will also repair units outside of warranty for a small service fee. Fee is dependent upon unit condition, and can only be judged at our location. We cannot give accurate quotes over the phone.

Domestic Warranty Claim Procedure
To have your unit replaced or repaired under warranty, please fill out the form below (or .pdf for printing). Include the printed repair request sheet in the package so we can accurately and rapidly repair your unit. Failure to include the repair request sheet will result in delays in processing your repair. Please fill out information to the best of your ability. Turn-around time varies with shipping times, production demands, etc. The average turn-around time, depending upon location, is usually 1-2 weeks. This is due to transit time. Units will usually spend only 2 business days at our facility. If you would like a copy of the tracking number when we ship it, please include your email address.

International Warranty Claim Procedure
To have your unit repaired or replaced under the 1 year warranty, please contact a member at Light Emitting Designs, Inc. first via email or call us at 505-792-1393. International repairs usually carry special conditions, and not all failures are covered under warranty due to different power systems, customer modifications, etc. Furthermore, return shipping for international units is the customer's responsibility. Light Emitting Designs, Inc. will only pay for domestic shipping on warranty returns. Please contact us before returning your unit to get an accurate shipping quote. If units do not arrive to the destination and customer did not request shipping insurance, Light Emitting Designs, Inc. cannot be held liable for the loss.
If you have already contacted a member at Light Emitting Designs, Inc. and received authorization, please fill out the form below (or .pdf for printing). Units returned to Light Emitting Designs, Inc. without authorization, payment for return shipping, and/or proof of purchase will be returned to sender after one attempt is made to contact sender.

Out-of-Warranty Policy
For a small fee, all units produced by Light Emitting Designs, Inc.. The price ranges depending upon the severity of the damage. For information on whether or not your unit is servicable at our facility, please call us at 505-792-1393.

Pricing
Repair costs vary depending on the unit and type of damage. However, the average cost is usually below 10% of the original purchase price. LED charges $15/hour for repair service, at-cost for parts, and $5 shipping for domestic repairs. For an accurate quote, we require the user to send the unit to our facility for a diagnosis. The diagnosis is free, but we require $5 for return shipping whether or not the unit is repaired at our facility.

Sending a Unit In
To send a unit in, simply fill out the form. Make sure you fill the form out completely, and please include the entire unit for diagnosis. While it may seem that the problem is localized to a certain component, often times a different component is at fault. If you would like to pay by credit card and include your credit card number on the form, you may do so at your will. We will NOT charge or invoice a customer beyond the $5 return shipping charge without seeking prior approval first.
