Several years ago I was in a car accident that left me with lower back, left leg and left foot and sciatic nerve damage that I had not been able to resolve.  I simply learned to walk less, bend over less, not sit for long periods, especially on hard surfaces, and to live with constant pain. 
After retirement I decided that this was a good time to try to suffer through the pain and to gradually increase my walking. At least I reasoned if I ended up in bed I wouldn’t be missing work.  I began walking in the summer of 2005,very gradually increasing the distance.  By the winter of 2005-2006 I could not sleep through the night as I was constantly awakened by the sharp shooting pain radiating from the spot in my left foot that had hurt since the wreck years ago and my back pain was severe.  I thought my walking days were numbered.  I called Ron Patterson and purchased the lumen photon light.  The first day I received the light I used it two times on setting 3 both on my lower back and the left foot.  That night I was NOT awakened with pain in the foot. 

In fact I have not had the nightly pain since I used the light.  I have continued to use the light on setting 3 on my lower back, left foot (top and bottom) and sometimes on the lower leg when I have time.  The lower back pain and discomfort has sharply decreased.  I am able to walk for a longer period of time and farther. Since the accident occurred in the nineties I know that it will take a while longer to resolve. But I know that with continued use of the lumen light, my back, sciatica and left leg and foot will be healed as I have already seen a great deal of improvement-more than I had even hoped for when I began using the light.  Nothing that any doctor has done for me in the years since the accident can compare to the relief I have experienced with the lumen light. 
 I also have used the light on my jaws on setting 3 for 2 to 10 minutes for 3 or 4 sessions a week.  When I do this I have noticed that my gums do not bleed when flossing or when using the water pik.
 Within the first week of use of the lumen light I was surprised to see that my toes were pink and not white.  I had not paid attention to my toes being white prior to this.  I immediately thought that the Lumen light could help my sister.  During the winter my sister in Ohio sustained frost bitten toes and some to her hands. Her doctor wanted to send her to a surgeon (to have the toes removed).  She refused to make the appointment hoping that the toes would gradually return to normal.  She did not have a pulse in either foot.  I ordered the Lumen Light for her.  This was the first of March.  I arrived at her house the day the Lumen light arrived.  I saw with my own eyes that her toes were black! 

She took the light out of the box and used it on the Nico setting the very first time.  Then she went to take a shower.  She came out smiling.  She said that that was the first time that the water from the shower had not hurt her toes!  She said normally since the frostbite she had cried every time she took a shower as the water hurt her toes so much.  I was at her house only a few days and in that time I saw her toes go from black to pink and to begin to show an improvement in refill of the blood.  She used the light every night on the Nico setting on her toes and across the middle of the foot for each foot.  She would often use the Nico setting and place the light on the lower legs.   I saw her in June.  Her toes were pink.  They had good refill of blood, both feet had a pulse again, and she could walk around barefoot and not even socks on.  She will continue to use the light as she has noticed that after being on her feet for long hours for her job if she comes home and then walks outside the toes turn bluish sometimes.  She is so ecstatic though with the miraculous results from the use of the Lumen light as she was so afraid as she knew the doctors wanted to amputate and would have already done so.  In May she saw a different doctor (for another problem) who checked her feet.  He was completely unaware that her toes had been frost bitten.  He said she had a good pulse and refill in each foot and she said he was amazed when she then told him that just in March she had black toes with no pulse in her feet due to frost bite.  Her hands were completely healed in March while I was there.

 My mom has also used the Lumen light since March to help resolve the pain in her lower abdomen.  The pain was so great that she felt she would pass out.  She experienced immediate relief after using the light.  She continues to use the light on her abdomen.   Since she had such good results she decided to use the light on her neck.  She uses setting 3 or 4 and for 10 minutes each time.  The doctor had her scheduled for a renal scan and also a scan on the arteries in her neck as the doctor heard a brewey there.  A brewey meant the arteries may be closing and that stents would have to be placed in there.  She had the scans done in June and the doctor reported to her that the scans turned out "perfect".  In fact the doctor didn’t even listen to her neck region and we are assuming that she did not due to the good test results. I am certain I cannot do without this Lumen Light.  I want to thank Dr Sherry Rogers for writing about the Lumen in her newsletter or I would never have known about it.  I also want to thank Ron Patterson for taking the time to talk with me and for getting the lights to both my sister and me quickly.

I wanted to tell you how pleased I am with my Lumen Photon Light. I have several cavitations in my jaw bone and have had multiple surgeries and multiple courses of antibiotics. Still, my jaw would not heal. Since I purchased my Lumen Photon Light, I have been using it daily on these cavitation sites. I no longer have any pain and the jawbone feels completely different than it did before using the light.
I also have a 13 year old Golden Retriever who has severe hip dysplasia and last year was considering putting him down as I couldn’t control his pain level. He has been receiving daily treatments with the Lumen Photon light and it has given him back his life. I no longer have to help him stand up and he beats me to the door when it is time for our daily walk. When I forget to give him his treatments over his hips, he seeks me out. He always falls into a deep sleep after his treatment.
Thank you for developing this technology as it has given us both a new “lease” and “leash” on life.

I wanted to write you and tell you about my healing with your light. I bought the Lumen 90 pad on June 2, of 2005. I had been in pain all the time since 1/05, went to therapy, did acupuncture, did pain creams and pills. Then I got your product. I used it like you said, started slow and found that if I used it more often or longer it worked better. After a short time, I had no pain at night and in a month or two I had no pain at all unless I didn't use the light for a few days then it would begin to hurt a little. So I just kept using the light every day 2 or 3 times. By September I had no pain and I noticed that I could do more things with my arm like carry a gallon of water. I kept it up everyday, my arm improved more and more and now I do all that I did before. The range of motion was the last to come back. My goal was to be able to put my arm around my neck on the other side and be able to touch my other shoulder like I used to do.
I can now do that. I have almost full range over my head, only having a small kink when I reach out on an angle. But no pain and I can do most things that I did before.
Since the beginning of this year I only use the light a few times a week. I also use it for what ever else hurts, a sore muscle from digging in the yard. I recently moved patio stones around with my shoulder and redid the yard in one area. I used the light for the next few days and it went away without any major discomfort.
Thank you for this product. It was well worth the price to be pain free and use my arm again and not have to go under the knife.

Using the lumen pad has changed my life at 71 by expanding the variety of activities I can do to become fit and flexible and thus achieve an improved sense of wellbeing. I am able to do yoga and Pilates moves that I could not do before without incurring pain, stiffness and sometimes spasms in my low back. I have new found flexibility allowing me to touch my toes (forward flexion) after experiencing back spasms for 25 years. I have used it on my sacroiliac joint when it became sore from overdoing my exercises and experienced pain relief almost immediately.
I bought the lumen pad on the glowing recommendation of Dr. Sherry Rogers ( a board certified environmental physician MD) through her newsletter “Total Wellness”. She has suffered from severe back pain, etc. for many years and received significant relief from using this pad.
In addition to the above, after sitting on the pad daily for 6 months, the tone of my anal spincter improved and I have no more leaks (which I endured for 2 ½ years) when I jumped on my rebounder. The improved tone control was confirmed by my gynecologist upon examination.
I also use it on my face and neck and see improved skin texture and on my forehead to improve my first stage cataracts.
I have been using it daily for 22 months and am still finding improvement. I expect to continue to use it and am always finding additional uses. Also I find it very relaxing and know that the infrared heat is healing. I thank you for this most wonderful pad!

Just wanted to let you know that the Lumen has proven to be the best purchase I have made in a long time. Actually it is the best purchase since the engagement ring I bought my wife in 1968.
Originally purchased to use against cavitations that resulted from years of root canals and tooth extractions I have found several additional excellent uses for the Lumen. Specifically: The teeth pain I had in my upper left jaw area is gone. I also noticed, as a side result, that a persistent sinus problem( frequent sinus infections) has not reappeared since I started using the Lumen on my cavitations. My knees are in the best shape that they have been in many years. Although I am still unable to run for more that 50 yards the grinding noise in the knees in almost entirely gone. I can now do deep knee bends without asking for help to get back up and I am going up and down stairs better that I have in 10 years. I have also used the Lumen for pain relief on minor muscle aches and pains. With one or two uses the pain is gone, mobility is 100% and I am able to resume my normal activities. For general pain relief in muscle and joints there is nothing better and I don't worry about destroying my liver with pain medications. Great invention, all we need is a bigger pad. Thanks.

I am very grateful for all the help I have received from them. Since August 2004 the Lumen Infrared Lights have cast their healing power on many pain sites on my body. I am 82 years old and have had Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy since 1947. Little is known about the disease- its cause or effective treatment. Through the years it spread throughout my body- resulting in many pain sites and permanent deterioration. The most effective treatment to control pain was water exercises and staying busy and keeping my mind busy with things that interest me. Alas, time finally ran out and I needed stronger and stronger pain medications in order to function. I am very allergic to medications and even ones I could tolerate held little relief for me. A friend told me about the light therapy for pain and that is when the Lumen Infrared Lights were introduced to me.
In August 2005, the first site I tried the lights on was a 1999 surgical scar in my right lower spine. I always have a problem healing and that time I developed a staphylococcus infection in the incision that took two months to heal, leaving considerable adhesions and scaring very deep- has always been inflamed and painful. I placed the lights over this site, first using #7 setting- switching later to Nico- for fifteen minutes - 3 times in 24 hours- I began to gradually experience less pain. After two weeks, I was able to reduce the pain medications some. After a month I no longer used codeine or morphine. Now, May 2005 I use Darvocet 2 times and Ultracet one time in 24 hours, two treatments of the Lumen Lights, and reduced standing or walking to control my pain. This does not wipe out the pain; however, it is much more bearable.
I also treat around my neck for the RSD. There are a few other problem sites with my spine and I treat those in the same manner. I have been experiencing big problems with fluid retention throughout my body for several years. Diuretics do not relieve the problem and I experience more pain and burning in the bladder when I try to use them. My problem was so acute when I began using the Lumen Lights that the urinary tract would shut down (could not urinate). With the lights I treated the kidney area and the bladder area and around the waist line and over the abdomen area. There are several old surgical sites in this area and fluid gathers there. After treatment with #7, #5, or Nico I have control of this problem- no medication!
At the present time I have been having a problem lifting my left leg- can stand on it and walk a little. (Am now unable to stand more than five minutes because of the deterioration on my spine described above) Orthopedic Doctor said my pain indicated left hip was the problem- X-Ray ruled this out. I began using the lights on the left hip and leg- have considerable fluid buildup in this area and soreness. Only when I use the lights in the knee area have I found any help. Have been able to reduce some of the fluid and the lifting of my foot and leg improved. With the lights using #5 and Nico down the leg and around the knee I have great improvement. No longer have to use a step ladder (assisting leg to one level at a time) to get into bed. Much improved- I am getting there!
I have old surgical scars (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) on both hands and considerable pain up my arms and across my shoulders. I have used a laser pointer (used in lecturing) for last 7 years to unlock my fingers when they jam up! Use Lumen #3, #5 for the rest of this area- pain control is good. RSD in my mouth - left side of tongue- Lumen #4- 2 minutes - (also blisters on same side of tongue from medicine reactions) Amazing quick results. Have problems with Hemorrhoids bleeding - responds well with Lumen Lights #4. On two occasions last three months I have had fluid behind the ear. Two to three treatments with Lumen Lights #3 took care of it. Sinuses drip and congestion is reduced by Lumen Lights #5. Reflux discomfort - Lumen #4 for 3 minutes stops the discomfort if I do it immediately.
A cup of hot tea was spilled on my left foot - pain intense- am sure it would have had water blisters. Followed Dr. Sherry Rogers' treatment plan, she outlined in her January newsletter, Total Wellness, for her badly burned hand- I alternated with ice and Lumen Lights #3 for three and a half hours. After about an hour I had no further pain. At the time I ceased treatment (3½ hrs.) both feet looked the same - never any blisters. Two days later skin turned pink in areas I thought would have been blisters - itched some but never had more pain or shed of skin!
I hope you will understand what I have been doing and if you have any suggestions that might be of help to me please let me know. My success with the lights was greatly enhanced by you excellent support as I needed guidance for various situations. In the beginning I was a little timid about using them and have great confidence now in trying anything that may be a small problem or a very big one! Your response was always timely and helpful. Thank you very much!

I saw Dr. Lotano for my yearly checkup and I had realized for several months that I could see better without my glasses. After checking me out he was enthused that was true and also my eyes "looked great" and he could now get me to 20/20 vision. I asked him if this was usual for someone 80 years old and his reply was "no". I then told him I had not been treating my eyes with the infrared light but had been treating my ear (get water behind the ear- leading to infection) and also the sinus drip would spillover to the eyes and I think that is why my sight changed so much. Before I told him of any of this he had an assistant look in my left eye because it was "such beautiful colors etc". He was very impressed and asked for material. I am passing on to him what Dr. Rogers said about the clinical trials on rats' eyes! He did caution me about my implants being plastic! Another interesting thing was that recently I saw the dermatologist, Dr. Meadows, and she froze nine places on my face. Within 30 minutes it threw me into a RSD attack - even the chest pains etc. I used the lights on my face and in 1-5 minutes my face was quiet and within four days it was astounding how good my face looked. The skin sluffed off the sights treated and within 10 days you could not tell I ever had the treatments. Usually I get little sores and it is about 4-6 weeks healing. Amazing! The letter I wrote you in May 2005 regarding treatments with the lights I mentioned my left leg was so bad I could not lift it. I continued using the lights and I improved slowly and now I would not know I ever had the problem. Of course, I still have a lot of problem on that side of my back and leg but overall the treatments have kept me mobile. My newest project is in regard to the "depression" I have one week out of every month since the RSD started. The new implant they are highlighting for depression sounded like another area that might be helped by the lights. I found the Vagus Nerve of the brain is crucial in the implant. I started out doing 3 minutes with #3 and after a few days, realized I was too reved up and now only do two minutes in the morning only. (This seems to be more comfortable) I appreciate so much all you have done to enhance my ability to treat some of my problem areas. Your set is working great.

When I began Lumen Photon Therapy, I had arthritis pain in my right shoulder from surgery. Also I had arthritis pain in my knees, hips, spine and hands. My little finger had started to bend! There was severe pain in my right heel and I suffered from sinus problems. Immediately, I noticed results! Now I have a significant decrease in pain. My finger has almost straightened and my heel seldom hurts. My sinuses have cleared up considerably and I have noticed collagen regeneration in my face. On each outside ankle I have lymphomas. The one on my right side has decreased in size and is less firm. This is from having my heel treated. I have also seen an improvement in my asthma. Even to the point where I hardly have to use my inhaler. Another friend referred me to Lumen Photon Therapy and I highly recommend it to everyone I pass who has problems.

I began having horrible pains in my left shoulder and was not able to reach for things with out having sharp stabbing pains in my shoulder. I went to Dr. Kremcheck in the Cincinnati, Ohio area to get an MRI of the shoulder. He is a Sports doctor for the Bengels and Cincinnati Reds. The doctor after MRI confirmed I had a torn rotator cuff and we set up a date for surgery. I went in for my surgery and the Anesthetists while talking to me gave me a shot in that arm to block the pain after surgery. My heart began acting out and my blood pressure dropped. They called my family doctor and he said don't do the surgery send her over to Mercy Hospital in Fairfield and see what they say about the heart. I went to Mercy Fairfield hospital and saw a Dr. Held who did a Angia gram on me and found I had an 85 percent artery blocked in the front of my heart. Because the artery curled he did not feel good about putting a stint in it. I came home and called a friend who works with a chiropractor; she encouraged me to visit him at least 3 times a week to receive Light Therapy. She said I may have to do this for several weeks or months but it seemed he was having a good success rate with his people. I am a very busy person and decided I would look on the internet and find myself a light therapy unit that would do the same thing. I came across lumenphoton.com and ordered the Lumen 90. Once I received the unit at home I looked over the material and set the setting on number 7 for pain. I began using this pad on my shoulder for about three months daily. Usually while watching television or sometimes just before I would go to sleep. I soon realized I was having no problem with my range of motion, nor pain from my arm at all. I was able to reach for things with ease. I began using the pad on other areas of my body daily. I have Fibermalagia and arthritis and it has become a blessing in disguise. Just think, no medical bills, no surgery...and I am totally healed in my arm

I had a horizontal fracture of my right clavicle. An orthopedic surgeon wanted to implant a rod and plate in this 3" split. The main symptoms were pain in the shoulder and arm and numbness throughout area after sleeping. I decided to postpone the surgery after the 2nd treatment and rescheduled it for six weeks out. I had new x-rays that showed healing in the bone, so I cancelled the surgery. After 16 treatments over six weeks, I had another x-ray and it showed complete healing.
